When climbing the Arizona Mountains and Colorado Mountains I learned about hard physical work verses the work that I personally was doing in corporate America. Click here for photo The hard work of climbing mountains was so gratifying and so enjoyable that it made me feel so incredibly accomplished in ways that I had never felt before. Every new step that took me further up the mountain provided me with a new natural high. It is hard to put into words how the experience changed me. All I knew was that the life that I had known was in the past and that I had to create and define the new person that had emerged. During my climb I learned how to watch out and protect my fellow man, and how to survive under unusual circumstances. I never realized how strong I was physically until I mastered the journey. I know I had emotional strength as my life was filled with doing volunteer work as you can read on my About Us page, but this newfound strength changed me.
When I returned home I decided to start my own company and leave behind the office dynamics I was doing day to day. I gave birth to Xaitamax, named after my Grandfather Max.
My first goals in opening my own firm were to give personal attention and create a smooth fun experience for my clients. Concentrating on the creative side of the promotional industry, the uniqueness that I could provide to my clients, and my focus on their concerns, their budgets, and needs were primary.
My second goal was to research and bring new ideas to the table that would enrich my clients businesses and give them a strong presence in their community, provide creativity with the ability to improve upon existing artwork, and add graphics to typeset to give it a creative flair for an imprint on a shirt, water bottle, drawstring bag, or a welcome mat!
When working with sports related companies and schools, I created a stress reliever in the image of their mascot. For their fundraiser I used a paw print for both an air freshener and jar opener staying with the team’s graphic.
During a time when people are concerned about their health I instituted a concept where emergency kits were being handed out to employees and VIP customers, adding stay healthy and be safe as part of their tagline. I used a non-woven bag with a graphic that would identify the bag as a specialty kit. The emergency kit was jammed packed with anti-gel sanitizers, lip balms with spf, sun screen, mini-tools, switch blades, jar openers, lip balms, mylar blankets, water bottles, nail files, combs, rain poncho’s, a whistle, dust masks, Band-Aids, first aid creams, flashlights, first aid booklets, deodorant, wet wipes, flashing safety reflectors, maps, pen and pad sets, sewing kits and more! For my car dealership I added a digital tire gauge, ice scraper, and an auto first aid mini kit and for my construction company client I added safety gloves.
Finding new and exciting promotional marketing ideas and in house specialty employee gifts became a strong focus for my company.
Our filmmakers, directors, and entertainment professionals count on us to find unique, cleaver, eye catching and collectible give-always to present at events where their films are viewed for the first time and may be voted on for an outstanding production award. The items selected to represent new films have to represent the film in a distinctive way.
One filmmaker came to me with his special budget for his film promotion. After bouncing back many different ideas he went with a jar opener in a 4 x 6 shape and made it look like the face of a deck of cards representing his particular card playing film. Click here for photo
Items like 4 color poker chips, pens with customized character tops, keyrings with poker chips and photo inserts, character based stress relievers, custom shaped USB drives, delicious chocolate customized to represent a Star, scene, or theme, slinky note pads with custom designs, a plush toy designed as a mascot, collectible lapel pins, key chains shaped like a cowboy boot or skateboard, digitally wrapped or laser pens that can hug a large logo neatly, to custom cell phone charms and guitar picks, the list is endless and using all our creative devices we will find the perfect item, under the strictest budgets for our film industry and music professionals.
My third goal was to educate my customers who were opening new businesses so they would understand the rules of imprinting. Whatever, the product may be it can be imprinted on or a special plate can be made to adhere to the item, or a label can be created to identify the firm, its services or brand. Large VIP gifts such as TV’s, bikes, luggage, and high quality leather gifts can be individualized and personalized. Imprints will screen, embroider and imprint well if they have bold lines, point requirements are met where there is ample separations of colors and lines, spot colors verses half tones, and clear color arrangements, and a minimum number of colors to keep costs down.
My forth goal was to teach new business owners how to be a joint party with graphic professionals when customizing their new logo and making it imprint-able friendly. This is a task that I knew was important not only for my business but for the manufactures and suppliers that work hand and hand with me when processing my orders and artwork requests. Teaching existing clients how to add a new twist to an existing logo and yet keep the same feeling and integrity of the artwork was another important goal. As time moves forward companies need to recreate themselves with new looks, new colors, and still keep the same invited flavor so their loyal customers continue to feel at home.
